Follow these easy sizing Instructions for sheet fed presses and folders running paper:

  1. Identify the MAIN blower line coming from the pump/compressor going to the feeder. Isolate the line BEFORE it separates into smaller lines going to different parts of the feeder. ALL the air going to the feeder MUST go through Ionix for it to be effective.
  2. Measure the inside diameter of that main blower hose. When selecting hose fitting, always order a unit with the hose fitting air opening equal to or larger than the ID of the blower hose. If you downsize the hose fitting you run the risk of air restriction in the blower line due to the smaller hose fitting opening.
  3. Determine the maximum sheet size that can run on the equipment (not the size of paper the customer runs on the equipment). When in doubt of sizing, always order a larger model Ionix Static Eliminator than required. Undersized Ionix units may not completely neutralize the static charges in the paper. Remember: You cannot over neutralize paper.
  4. Use the chart below:
